Overview
Objective
A cookie banner appears as an overlay on the screen asking users to accept cookies. This will be displayed during the user’s first visit to the Legal Aid website.
Use case
A cookies banner will be displayed on first visit to the website.
As a content author, I want to use a cookies banner so that I get consent to use user’s cookies.
Business rules
BR-# | Business rules |

BR-1 | When a user first visits the site, no matter what page they are on, this cookies banner will appear at the bottom of the screen. Component is added to all templates by default. |
BR-2 | There are a number of appearance settings for how the component should display. The following have been built and incorporated based on the creative designs:

BR-3 | Once user selects ‘Accept cookies’ they agree to any terms related to cookies data. |
BR-4 | If a user selects the privacy policy it will open privacy policy. The cookies banner will still appear. |
