Overview


Objective

The social share component allows content authors to add social media icons that link to a variety of social media channels.

Use case

This component may be used on the ‘Contact us’ page and other content pages as relevant.

Default social share components from AEM can be placed into column containers

Selecting on an icon takes the user to the selected social media webpage in a new tab.

This component supports links to main social media platforms:

  • Facebook

There could be more icons added in the future.
