Overview


Objective:

The quick exit component provides users with the ability to exit the website quickly.

Use case:

Quick exit component should be located on pages where the topic is sensitive (e.g. domestic violence). It will also be added to the self help tool. The quick exit component can also be added to features such as guided pathways as required.

  • As a user, I will use the quick exit component to close the entire website for privacy and security reasons.

The quick exit component is located on top of the footer for desktop and mobile.

The quick exit can be activated by:

  • pressing ‘ESC’ on the keyboard (desktop only)

  • tapping the quick exit bar (desktop and mobile)

This component contains the following elements:

  • Title (left aligned)

  • Exit button (right aligned on desktop, left aligned on mobile)

When exiting the site, a new tab will not be opened. The existing webpage will be redirected to Google .
